No fluff. No fake deep life philosophy.
Just truths, quirks, and a little bit of chaos

I'm Sajal Kumar, a product designer who’s been designing and building for over 2 years now. Currently at Pulse, previously at Titan Email (DirectI). But here’s the thing about me..
I don’t just design.
I obsess. I tweak that last 2% because that’s what users notice.
I build that extra prototype the team’s only thinking about and it ends up unlocking something real in a
usability test.
I craft digital experiences. And yes, I listen to users but with a pinch of salt
What people say is important, but what they do? That’s where the magic is.
I observe behaviour. I look at data. I build things that actually work.
High agency. High urgency. Slightly allergic to mediocrity

If something can be done in 3 hours, I’ll do it in 2. Not because someone asked me to but because I can’t sit still when something’s broken or not good enough.
You'll often find me:
Prototyping alternate flows that were “out of scope”
Shipping mini Figma plugins because something annoyed me once
Building micro-interactions that make the UX feel alive because why draw dead fish, right?
Designers often wait the longest for gratification. So I chase every bit of it
That little “love the icon” from a teammate? I live for it. Because unlike devs or PMs, a designer’s feedback loop is long. Gratification comes slow. So I fuel up on the smallest “this feels great” moments and keep pushing forward.

There are designers, and then there’s Sajal - the kind of product designer every team dreams of but rarely finds.
What makes Sajal exceptional isn’t just his skill with pixels and flows (which are top-notch, by the way). It’s his high agency. He doesn’t wait to be told what to do; he takes charge, solves problems, and drives things forward with a level of responsibility that’s hard to find.

Product Manager @Titan and Neo (DirectI)
I had the pleasure of working with Sajal, and he was easily one of the best designers on the team. What really stood out about him was his eagerness to learn and push boundaries—whether it was exploring motion design, experimenting with front-end code, or simply refining the smallest design details. He’s also incredibly reliable.

I love to code. Always curious. Always tinkering
I don’t design UIs I can’t build.
Sure, I get help from LLMs and AI tools (who doesn’t?), but I’ve dabbled in front-end, built plugins, and prototyped interactions not just to ship faster, but to think better.
Code teaches me constraints.
Code teaches me trade-offs.
Code helps me be a better designer.
Humor is my hidden superpower
I believe humour can disarm the stiffest meetings.
It can make a point hit harder and bring people closer.
(Also, sending memes to your team? 10/10 would recommend.)
People at Titan got that. From our CEO Ninad to my manager Isha, to the devs I lovingly roasted. And honestly? That’s what made the work better.
In short...
I'm a designer who codes, cares deeply, loves motion, and makes memes.
I build things users enjoy, not just use.
And I’ll always go the extra mile with curiosity, urgency, and a good laugh along the way.
